*Thurs. 5/10: Math MAPs test
A LOOK AT NEXT WEEK: *Reading: We will continue to work on The One and Only Ivan. We are also working on friendly letter writing as we write our 2nd grade pen pals, who will visit at the end of the month.
*Spelling: A new word list will come home on Monday.
* Social Studies: We are finishing up our Chicago unit. We will take our last open note quiz on Wed. 5/9. An orange study guide was sent home. If your child completes the study guide, they can use that on the quiz.
*Science: We are wrapping up our unit on Planets. We will have an open book, graded review next week. Our next unit with by a Mystery Science unit on animals.
*Mrs. Olsen's Math Class: We are working on greater number multiplication and fractions in Unit 7. We will also work on 8's division facts next week.
